The LS7 LOTUS 7 SPEED full sequential gearbox from Kotouc Gearboxes is what will separate your LOTUS from the rest of the pack! It is designed to suit the LOTUS range of cars that utillise the 3.5L V6 engine. The gearbox was developed following a strong demand from LOTUS drivers needing to gain the additional performance that the factory original or supplied sequential gearbox cannot deliver. The LS7 LOTUS 7 SPEED Full Sequential Gearbox incorporates special dogring technology for short, smooth and quick gear changes. Flatshifting of gears in as little as 40 milliseconds.
Unique to the LS7 LOTUS 7 SPEED full sequential gearbox is the externally adjustable nut for setup of differential preload. The differential has a maximum adjustment to 13kg and customisable ramp angles can be produced if required. Standard ramp angles are 53/0 and 40/0.
Thanks to innovative engineering, the gearbox can be used with original driveshafts, clutch and mounts without any modifications. It utilises the original Lotus clutch case so that installation is swift and costs are extremely reduced.
The oil inlet and outlet allowing for universal compatibility with oil cooling system. Additionally, there is the option for installation of an oil temperature sensor.
